Method6 steps
How a campaign runs
Six steps from your budget to a report you can check. You approve the plan before anything is charged, and you see the numbers every week.
ADA Marketing runs every campaign in six steps: brief, plan, approve, build, run and test, report and decide. You receive a written plan before you pay. Adverts are tested against each other in the first week, and the traffic target is then set in writing from your own results. Each week you get a report taken from the advert platforms' own figures.
From budget to report
Brief
You tell us what you are marketing, who buys it, what you can spend and what you want it to bring.
Plan
We write the plan: audience, message, channels, duration, the split of the budget and an estimate.
Approve
You read it, ask for changes and approve it. Nothing is charged and nothing runs before this.
Build
We make the adverts, set up the accounts in your name and set up tracking, so results can be counted.
Run and test
Several adverts run side by side. After the first week we set the traffic target from real results.
Report and decide
Every week you get the numbers against the target, and decide to continue, change or stop.
What a report contains
The same six numbers every week, so you can compare one week with the last.
| Number | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Amount spent | How much of the advertising budget has been used, as charged by the platform. |
| Reach | How many different people saw the adverts. |
| Clicks | How many of them clicked through to your chat, call button or page. |
| Cost per click | The amount spent divided by the clicks. This is what a visitor costs you. |
| Results | Enquiries, messages, calls or orders: whatever the campaign was set up to bring. |
| Cost per result | The amount spent divided by the results. This is the number to judge the campaign by. |
How we treat the number you came for
- Before launch: an estimate, shown as a range with its sources.
- After week one: a target in writing, set from your own results.
- Every week: the result against the target.
- If it is being missed: the report says what changes: the advert, the audience, the offer or the page people land on.
- If it still does not work: we tell you to stop spending, and say why.
- Promise a number of visitors or sales before a single advert has run.
- Buy followers, likes or clicks to make a report look better.
- Run adverts that mislead people about what you sell or what it costs.
- Keep your advert account or page when you leave. They are yours.
What you need to bring
A clear offer
What you sell, what it costs from, and why someone should choose it. If this is not clear yet, working it out is the first part of the plan.
Someone who answers
Adverts bring messages and calls. They are wasted if nobody replies the same day. We agree who answers, and when.
Photos or access
Real photos of your product, premises or work, or a time when we can take them. Real pictures do better than stock pictures.
Questions about the method
How quickly can a campaign start?
After you approve the plan, the adverts and tracking have to be made and the advert platforms have to approve them. The plan gives the start date. A launch or an event with a fixed date is planned backwards from that date.
Who owns the advert account and the page?
You do. Accounts and pages are created in your name, and we are added as a partner to run them. If you stop working with us, you keep the account, its history and its audience.
What happens after the first campaign?
The final report recommends one of three things: continue as it is, change something specific, or stop. There is no automatic renewal.
Do you only do paid advertising?
No. Paid campaigns are where most clients start because the result is quick to measure. We also manage social media pages, design brands and marketing material, and improve how you appear on Google. See services.
Tell us your budget. We will send back a plan.
Say what you are marketing, who you want to reach and what you can spend. You get a written plan with the channels, the duration and a traffic target before you pay anything.
